    Hazel Pegues, ACC, CPCC

    Hazel has a broad range of experience and expertise in the areas of developing and implementing multi-sector, community-wide diversity and inclusion strategies and programs. Additionally, she is an accomplished Executive and Life Coach who also has expansive experience working with non-profit organizations in the areas of leveraging human and financial resources, community engagement, securing financial support, organizational development, strategic planning, and diversity and inclusion strategy all to ensure organizational sustainability and growth.

    Hazel is a visionary leader whose career has taken her from corporate retailing to Junior Achievement to the Urban League to the School for Creative and Performing Arts to Diversity Focus.  She has a B.S. degree in Business Management from Hampton University, Hampton, VA., along with certifications in “The Diversity Practitioner of the 21st Century” from the Society of Human Resource Management, Executive and Life Coaching from Coaches Training Institute and the International Coaches Federation. Hazel is a graduate of the Center for Creative Leadership’s “Developing the Strategic Leader”, The American Institute for Managing Diversity, Inc’s “Managing Diversity Workshop” and was a 2010 Faculty-in-Residence for the University of Iowa N.E.W Leadership Program. A native of Dayton, Ohio.

    Hazel has lived in Hampton, Virginia, New York, New York, Washington D.C., Boston, Massachusetts, Colorado Springs, Colorado, Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Cincinnati, Ohio. She is president and owner of Pegasus Consulting a management consulting and executive coaching firm.
